From July 30 to August 8, 2026, Special Envoy on Afghan Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Yue Xiaoyong visited Türkiye, Pakistan and Afghanistan.
During his stay in Türkiye, Yue Xiaoyong held consultations with Director General for South Asia at the Turkish Foreign Ministry Cihad Erginay and had in-depth exchanges on issues of mutual concern. During his visits to Pakistan and Afghanistan, Yue Xiaoyong exchanged views with relevant officials of the two countries on promoting the improvement and development of Afghanistan-Pakistan relations.
